Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings, assessments, and education while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety. Your expertise will help create a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. You will collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive oral health services, utilizing your knowledge of dental terminology.
*Work hours : Mondays (9-6), Thursdays (9-6), Fridays (9-4) , Two Saturdays(8-5)/ Morning Huddle 20 min prior to patient time. *
Hygiene Assistants and Sterilization Technician assist RDH
Do not request scheduling your own columns, selling procedures or products
We do request RDHs educating patients' oral hygiene
We do have experienced RDH for mentoring
Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleanings, fluoride, Laser treatments, and sealants for patients of all ages.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current medications to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits, treatment notes, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Open Dental for documentation review and record management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to ensure precise communication.
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients and collaborating effectively with team members.
- Laser treatment certified preferred
