Dental Hygienist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist /General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. This role involves working closely with patients to provide preventive dental care, educate them on oral hygiene practices, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the dental office.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
• Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting findings.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and documentation review standards.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care in a general dentistry setting, including pediatrics when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Experience in a dental office setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and ability to implement them effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients of all ages, including children
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
