The Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to ensure each patient visit runs smoothly. You will work with patients of all ages and assist in a broad spectrum of advanced dental services performed on-site, including comprehensive dental care, same day CAD/CAM crowns and bridges, implants, surgical extractions including impacted third molars, and endodontic procedures. You will play a key role in creating a calm, comfortable experience for patients of all ages.
What You’ll Do
- Assist dentists chairside during clinical procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to the highest infection control standards
- Take digital X-rays and assist with intraoral and 3D scanning
- Record medical histories, vital signs, and clinical notes accurately
- Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA
- Contribute to a team culture that values professionalism, respect, and excellence
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Familiarity with digital dentistry and dental software (Dentrix Ascend preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Willingness to learn and work between both clinic locations, as needed
