Dental Assistant

Location: Alexandria, VA Pay: $21–$25 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. If you enjoy working in a positive, patient-focused environment and take pride in delivering excellent care, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Take dental X-rays (if certified).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Help create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Current Virginia X-ray certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
