Dental Assistant

Hygiene Assistant Position: We are looking to complete our growing dental team with a full-time Hygiene Assistant in a privately owned, specialty dental practice located in Cumming. Our purpose is to raise the standard of care for our patients through the complete health model that addresses the oral systemic health connection. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, dependable, and patient-centered hygiene assistant to complement our dedicated team in serving our patients and assisting our Hygienist. Open to train the right individual for our team. Qualifications: • Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience. • Effective communicating skills. • Provide responsive and high-quality customer service to patients. • Balance multiple tasks in busy environment. • Team-oriented collaborator. • Follow infection control and sterilization protocols. • Dental Radiation Technology Certification (required) with ability to capture quality images. • CPR Certification (required). • Dentrix: 1 year (Preferred) Responsibilities: • Maintain hygiene schedule and flow of patient care. • Capture radiographic images and intra-oral photos. • Provide patient education and present treatment plans. • Create positive and comforting environment during visit. • Sterilize instruments. • Prompt turnover and cleanliness of operatories. • Manage hygiene supplies. Compensation: • Hourly pay based on experience ($16-$20 per hour) with commission option. • Full time benefits offered/include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and uniform allowance. Schedule: • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM • Friday: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. • Tuesday: Office Closed
