Veterinary Practice Manager

Job Overview Morrisville Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our veterinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our busy small animal practice. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of animal care while also overseeing administrative functions within the practice.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the veterinary practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Manage: hiring, staff schedules, training, performance evaluations and intra-staff relations to foster a positive work environment.
• Guide the financial and strategic business development to achieve hospital profitability.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards of care.
• Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage hospital inventory and physical facilities tasks to ensure proper hospital operations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years proven experience in a veterinary or human medicine setting with a strong understanding of managing a medical facility, medical professionals and support staff.
• Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage both staff and client relations effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of veterinary professionals.
• Ability to work independently on assigned hospital projects.
• Understanding and ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding hospital business.
• Fluency in use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet applications.
• Experience using IDEXX Cornerstone software is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
