Duties
- Perform complex root canal treatments, including retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic surgical procedures with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental imaging, medical records, and diagnostic tools to develop effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure seamless treatment experiences
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and sterilization
- Stay current with advancements in endodontics, dental technology, and healthcare diagnosis practices to continually enhance service quality
Experience
- Proven experience in endodontics with a strong background in root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, and related procedures
- Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
- Demonstrated ability to perform general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry when needed
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to endodontic treatments
- Experience working within a dental clinic environment that emphasizes infection control, patient care, and team collaboration
- Strong understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes combined with excellent client communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies such as dental fabrication tools and advanced imaging systems
