Job Description
EXPERIENCED DENTAL PATIENT COORDINATOR-4 DAY WORK WEEK We are an established, privately owned dental practice seeking an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our small, collaborative team. A minimum of 2 years of dental office experience is required. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who truly understands dentistry and the business side of a dental practice, is confident communicating with patients about treatment, finances, and insurance, and understands how to maintain an efficient, productive schedule. Just as important, we want someone with a genuinely great personality who can run the front desk independently and proactively, so our doctor can stay fully focused on patient care. What We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate is experienced and comfortable with: Presenting treatment plans confidently and helping patients move forward with care Discussing financial arrangements and collecting payment Explaining pay-in-full and third-party financing options Scheduling efficiently and productively to meet daily and monthly goals Understanding PPO dental insurance plans Verifying benefits and eligibility Reading and interpreting EOBs and understanding why treatment was or was not covered Explaining insurance limitations and patient responsibility Having difficult financial or insurance conversations with patients professionally Following established systems, protocols, and expectations Culture Matters to Us We are a small practice and a true team environment.
