Dental Hygienist

About the Role $10,000 Sign On Bonus - Join David M. Lovit, DMD in Columbia, SC as a full-time Dental Hygienist in a practice that values thorough care, consistent scheduling, and strong patient relationships. You’ll have 50-60 minutes for adult recare and periodontal maintenance, 60 minutes for new patients, and scaling and root planing scheduled based on clinical need.

What You'll Do • Provide preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care • Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and recommended treatment • Maintain accurate clinical records and digital charting • Communicate clear patient handoffs to the doctor and team • Work with the clinical team to keep patient care running smoothly

What You'll Bring Required: • Active South Carolina Dental Hygiene license • Strong clinical and patient education skills • Strong communication skills • Confidence with computer-based charting and documentation Preferred: • Experience providing care to patients of all ages • Strong patient handoff skills • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining individualized care
