General Dentist – Workers’ Compensation Dental Care

Jerome Peterson DDS, INC is seeking a motivated and organized General Dentist to provide comprehensive restorative dental care to patients receiving treatment through California’s workers’ compensation system.

This is a Part-time position. Clinical treatment is scheduled Monday through Thursday, with one Admin day, that may be completed remotely.

Position Responsibilities

· Diagnose and provide appropriate restorative dental treatment

· Perform procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and other general restorative services

· Develop clear, clinically supported treatment plans

· Complete workers’ compensation reports, clinical narratives, treatment requests, and supporting documentation

· Respond promptly to requests for additional information or authorization

· Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records

· Track cases and management of required follow-up

· Coordinate with the internal team, claims representatives, attorneys, and other involved parties as appropriate

· Help develop and maintain efficient workers’ compensation workflows

· Independently manage both the clinical and administrative responsibilities of assigned cases

Schedule

· Monday–Thursday: Clinical patient care

· Administrative and case-management day, with the option to work remotely

Qualifications

· Active and unrestricted California dental license

· Current DEA registration, CPR/BLS certification, and required professional credentials

· Strong restorative dentistry experience

· Excellent clinical documentation and written communication skills

· Comfortable managing detailed paperwork, deadlines, and case workflows

· Organized, dependable, and self-motivated

· Able to work independently while collaborating with the clinical and administrative teams

· Previous workers’ compensation experience is preferred but not required

· Willingness to learn California workers’ compensation dental processes is essential

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows cases through to completion, and does not need constant reminders to keep paperwork and workflows moving.
