Overview: West Texas Private Family Dental Office.
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our West Texas private FFS dental office with real opportunity for true ownership. We are out of network with all insurance plans. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance of teeth and gums. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies and interest in running the business side too. Mentoring opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including preventive, restorative, and oral surgery as needed.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices, technologies, and terminology to provide the best care possible.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficient in dental terminology and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for managing patient information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Knowledge of oral surgery techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
