Registered Dental Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting our dentists during clinical procedures, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and dental materials for procedures.
- Greet, seat, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Assist the dentist during diagnostic, preventive, and restorative procedures (4-handed dentistry).
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral images (if certified).
- Sterilize instruments, maintain infection control, and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Assist with clinical inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Dental Assistant Registration.
- CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm patient demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Benefits
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (8:30 AM-5:30PM)
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
