Responsibilities

  • Perform root canal treatments, endodontic surgeries, and retreatments with precision and care.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose complex cases accurately.
  • Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with general dentists, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
  • Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive practices to promote oral health.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure as a licensed Endodontist or eligibility for licensure in the practice location.
  • Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, endodontic surgeries, and related procedures.
  • Proficiency with dental software such as open dental for documentation and treatment planning.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and infection control standards.
  • Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
  • Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during treatments.
  • Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and dental implants is a plus.
