Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene and assisting the dentist in various procedures.

Hours

• Mondays 9am - 6pm (paid one hour lunch)
• Wednesdays 1pm - 7pm
• Fridays 9am -3pm (paid 30 min lunch).

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during all procedures to minimize the risk of infection.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages are necessary for success in this role.
