Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a supportive, vibrant, and patient-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our growing team at Elevated Dental. We are a small, family-like dental practice committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care in a positive and welcoming environment.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in providing excellent preventive and periodontal care while building strong relationships with our patients. We are looking for someone who is passionate about dentistry, enjoys educating patients, and works well as part of a team.

This is a part-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

• Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning
• Perform periodontal charting and assess patients' oral health
• Take dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and interdental cleaning
• Review patients' medical and dental history and identify any changes that may affect treatment

Skills & Qualifications:

• Current California Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient-education skills
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional personality
• Previous dental hygiene experience is preferred, but we are open to the right candidate
