Dental Hygienist

Our office is looking for a dental hygienist to join our team! New grads as well as experienced providers are all welcome to apply

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8 AM – 4 PM
• Friday: 8 AM – 1 PM

We are looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene).
• Licensure: Current, valid Maryland dental hygiene license is required.
• Experience: Prior clinical experience is preferred; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Professionalism: A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, polishing, and the application of preventive treatments.
• Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide advice on maintaining optimal dental health.
• Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
• Clinical Excellence: Maintain accurate patient records, assist in treatment planning, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest dental hygiene practices and advancements.
