MUST HAVE 2 YEARS Dental Assistant Experience! We are currently seeking a dedicated person to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix.
- Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as required.
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS Dental Assistant Experience!
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
- Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control standards in a clinical setting.
