Dental Assistant – Endodontic Specialty Practice

About the Position

As an Endodontic Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our endodontist and clinical team to provide exceptional care to our patients. Our practice focuses exclusively on endodontic treatment, including root canal therapy, microsurgical treatment, and other procedures designed to save natural teeth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant who enjoys learning, working as part of a close-knit team, and developing specialized clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
• Assist the doctor during endodontic procedures
• Take radiographs and CBCT scans
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical environment
• Prepare and sterilize instruments according to established protocols
• Review and update patient information as needed
• Provide patients with a welcoming, reassuring experience
• Assist with patient seating, dismissal, and post-treatment instructions
• Communicate professionally with patients and the dental team
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety procedures
• Help with other clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Experience in an endodontic or specialty practice is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Familiarity with dental terminology and infection-control procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate and reassuring manner with patients

Schedule

Full-time/Part-time available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and alternating Saturdays

Compensation

$20-30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
