Job Description
The orthodontic assistant works closely with Dr. Alex to craft beautiful smiles while establishing a positive relationship with patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and procedures
- Scanning patient’s teeth for Invisalign and braces
- Bonding braces and Invisalign attachments with the orthodontist
- Orthodontic adjustments
- Provide treatment and oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Assisting the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Recording treatment notes
- Educate patients on their treatment plans and maintaining their oral health
- Take dental x-rays
- Make patients feel comfortable by engaging patient and/or parent in conversation
- Maintain a clean, neat work area
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow OSHA guidelines
- Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to work schedules and office policies
- Must maintain certification and/or license renewals as required by the state
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Assistant with xray certification (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)

Salary:
Starting salary: $22-23/hour depending on experience.
Required Availability:
Monday through Friday 6:40am-4:10pm
