Orthodontic Assistant

Job Overview

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Orthodontic Assistant to join our team!

We’re a busy orthodontic practice that believes great patient care starts with a great team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and genuinely cares about making patients feel comfortable and confident.

We hire for personality first. Orthodontic experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

This is a Monday–Thursday position with no weekends, offering competitive pay, benefits, paid time off, and a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the orthodontist with patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
• Assist with braces, wires, adjustments, and other orthodontic treatment
• Take X-rays, photographs, impressions, and other patient records
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized treatment areas
• Help patients of all ages feel comfortable and cared for
• Explain procedures and provide patients and families with helpful treatment information
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control and safety procedures
• Work as part of a team to keep the day running smoothly and provide an excellent patient experience

Dental assisting experience is preferred, and orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

X-ray certification is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain it.

Schedule & Travel

Monday–Thursday — no weekends!

This position will travel to our satellite offices approximately 25% of the time. We provide a travel stipend, and when schedules allow, you may ride with one of our doctors.

Compensation & Benefits

$17.00–$28.85 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
