Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Peds / Pediatric ICU

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Shift: Nights

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay Package (Weekly – 36 Hours)

• Weekly Gross: $3,032.00
• Weekly Taxable: $1,548.00
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,484.00

Hourly Breakdown

• Taxable Rate: $43.00/hr
• Blended Rate: $84.22/hr
• Overtime Rate: $64.50/hr

Job Description

Join a high-acuity Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.

The ideal candidate will have strong Pediatric ICU experience, with Level 1 experience as an RN in Pediatric ICU required. CVICU and NICU experience is preferred.

Please Note:

• This is a Pediatric ICU position.
• Level 1 Pediatric ICU RN experience is required.
• CVICU and NICU experience is preferred.
• This position is for night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor clinical status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly to clinical deterioration.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary pediatric healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the plan of care.
• Provide safe, evidence-based care in a high-acuity pediatric environment.

Job Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• PALS Certification
• Level 1 Pediatric ICU RN experience required
• Pediatric ICU experience required
• CVICU experience preferred
• NICU experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity pediatric environment
