*Registered Dental Hygienist – Boutique Periodontal Practice Downtown Seattle *one of our amazing long-term hygienists is preparing to retire and that means we’re looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our boutique periodontal office and help continue the exceptional care our patients have come to expect.Our office is looking for a hygienist for 2-4 days/week (flexible). We are looking for a team player who is excited about dentistry and is a good communicator, and passionate about delivering the highest level of care. We believe in high-quality dentistry and that oral health and hygiene is critical for overall wellness.We aim to provide a high level of service utilizing the latest in technology to achieve it.Our hygienists work in close partnership with our periodontist but also are given significant autonomy in their day-to-day work (no micromanaging!). Each hygienist has their own dedicated room to help you truly find your dental home and allow you to focus fully on patient care in a supportive, invested environment. Our hygienists are instrumental to our office!Who we’re looking for: A Washington licensed RDH Someone with periodontal experience (or a strong interest in periodontics) Someone comfortable with periodontal maintenance, and SRP with the Perioscope or PerioView — whether already skilled or eager to be trained. Someone skilled at or interested in training on and mastering the use of an Nd:YAG (LANAP) laser and Air Polisher. Excellent communication skills both with verbal patient education and clear written communication with referring doctors. Someone that is kind, team-oriented, and passionate about patient careWe offer exceptional Perioscope/PerioView and LANAP training and mentorship. We are in a fortunate position to invest the time to thoroughly teach and support you so you become confident and proficient. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced team members who can mentor you every step of the way, especially if you’re newer to Perioscopy/PerioView.
