North Sound Root Canal Specialists is a well-established and highly efficient Endodontics private practice located in Bellingham, WA. The North Sound team is seeking a dynamic, part-time Dental Assistant who is a problem-solver, quick learner, flexible, and embraces a can-do attitude.

$23.00 - $28.00 depending on experience

Part-Time (hours vary) Monday – Friday

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: *

• Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for endodontist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments.
• Taking X-rays and CBCT scans and discussing possible findings with patients.
• Acquire all pertinent information from the patient to provide a case presentation to the dentist.
• Documented dental care services by charting in patient notes and final reports to dentist.
• Rotating on-call schedule responding to patient emergencies (paid additional while on call).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3+ years dental assisting experience (Required)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Hard-working and driven.
• Team player, compassionate with a positive attitude.
• Embraces a can-do attitude, is a self-starter and very flexible.
• Dynamic thinker and problem-solver.
• A quick learner, takes great direction and embraces constructive feedback.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
