Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a a growing dental practice in Arlington, Texas, dedicated to providing quality dental care to children and adults. As we continue expanding our adult patient services, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is interested in growing alongside our practice. We are actively investing in marketing and community outreach to attract new adult patients and establish a strong, consistent hygiene schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent dental hygiene graduate or an experienced hygienist who wants to be part of building and growing a dental practice. We are looking for someone who understands that this position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to increase their schedule as our adult patient base expands.

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The position will initially begin with one scheduled day per week. As our patient volume increases through our ongoing marketing efforts, we anticipate adding additional hygiene days, with the long-term goal of transitioning the position into a full-time role. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys patient education, building relationships with patients, and helping establish a successful hygiene program. We welcome both newly licensed hygienists and experienced professionals who are excited about joining a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning as clinically indicated. Conduct periodontal assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Take dental radiographs as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive dental care. Collaborate with the dentist to develop appropriate treatment plans. Establish positive relationships with patients and encourage consistent preventive care. Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols. Work collaboratively with our dental assistants and front office team to provide an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused. Comfortable working in a growing practice where patient volume and scheduling will continue to develop. Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team environment. Experience with pediatric and adult patients is a plus, but our primary focus for this position will be expanding our adult hygiene services.

Pay: $43.11 - $51.91 per hour
