Registered Dental Hygienist

Family Medicine & Dentistry of East Brunswick is looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team for a consistent part-time Saturday schedule.

This is a great opportunity for a hygienist looking for additional hours, a second office, or a predictable weekend position without a full-time commitment.

Position Details

• Position: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Schedule: 2–3 Saturdays per month
• Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Location: East Brunswick, NJ
• Employment: Part-timePay: $50–$62 per hour, depending on experience
• Consistent, ongoing Saturday schedule
• Saturdays scheduled in advance
• Dedicated dental assistant available to support the hygienist

• Your assistant will help with:
• Room turnover and flipping rooms
• Taking and processing X-rays
• Instrument setup and sterilization
• Keeping rooms stocked and organized
• Assisting with overall operatory flow

This allows you to focus on what you do best — providing excellent patient care and hygiene treatment — rather than spending your time turning over rooms or handling sterilization.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough and gentle preventive dental hygiene care
• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis
• Take necessary dental radiographs
• Perform periodontal charting and assessments
• Provide patients with oral hygiene and periodontal education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Work closely with the dentist and dental team
• Follow OSHA and infection-control protocol

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RDH license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
