Dental Hygienist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.

Duties

• Perform dental cleanings and assist with procedures under the supervision of a dentist
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Conduct patient assessments including vital signs and documentation review
• Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices
• Knowledge of dental terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in dental assisting is a plus
• Passion for promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.97 - $65.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred)
• Dental License (Preferred)
