Dental Assistant

About the Role Tuscaloosa Dentures & Implants is a new dental practice focused on dentures, dental implants, extractions, and full-mouth rehabilitation. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Dental Assistant who is excited to join a growing practice from the beginning.

Our clinic will be open five days per week, with this position typically scheduled four days per week (8-4). Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.

**Responsibilities include: **

• Chairside assisting during dental procedures
• Assisting with dentures, implants, extractions, and restorative procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Maintaining sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Taking dental X-rays and assisting with digital scans/impressions
• Helping maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment
• Providing a welcoming, compassionate patient experience
• Assisting with phones, scheduling, supplies, and other duties as needed

Because we are a startup practice, we are looking for someone who is dependable, energetic, adaptable, and willing to take initiative. A team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed are especially important.

Dental assisting experience is strongly preferred. Experience with oral surgery, extractions, implants, dentures, or digital dentistry is a plus.
