This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in dental care. Currently employing 2 doctors and 3 hygienists with annual collections of $2.0-$2.3 million.

Duties

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental histories, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate diagnoses.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans and educate patients on oral health maintenance.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
• Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with specialists such as endodontists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons when advanced procedures are required.
• Use dental office management software Denticon for scheduling, charting, billing, and documentation purposes.
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare diagnosis standards and stay updated on current dental practices and innovations.

Skills

• Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
• Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and implant placement.
• Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging technologies.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient comfort and practice productivity.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance in all aspects of patient care and medical documentation.
