Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging technology.
- Diagnose dental conditions accurately utilizing your knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and healthcare diagnosis principles.
- Deliver a broad spectrum of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and dental extractions while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Conduct specialized procedures including prosthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics, to restore and enhance patient oral health.
- Manage patient care by developing personalized treatment plans that align with state healthcare regulations and HIPAA privacy standards.
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation and dental records in compliance with legal requirements using electronic health record systems like Dentrix or similar platforms.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions while ensuring client comfort and understanding.
Experience
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in dental office or clinic settings.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or equivalent practice management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures including root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines and understanding of state healthcare regulations governing dental practices.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs and treatment plans.
