Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
  • Execute advanced treatments including dental implants, oral surgery, root canal therapy, endodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed.
  • Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results accurately to diagnose dental conditions.
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in accordance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatments thoroughly in medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions to ensure understanding and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and uphold high standards of clinical excellence.

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a General Dentist in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
  • Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, implant placement, orthodontic procedures, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures within a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients of diverse backgrounds and explain complex treatment plans effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and state healthcare regulations governing patient privacy and safety.
