- Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct specialized procedures including dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with dental team members utilizing Four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient workflow.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques by participating in ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a strong foundation in general dentistry practices.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures aligned with OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations while providing compassionate client care.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health assessments and treatment planning.
