Part-Time Associate General Dentist
Location: West Orange, NJ
Position Type: Part-Time (1–3 days per week)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, dependable Part-Time Associate General Dentist to join our established practice in West Orange, NJ. The ideal candidate must be proficient in comprehensive general dentistry, with advanced clinical skills in implant placement/restoration and root canal therapy (RCT).
This role offers a significant opportunity for a confident practitioner to manage comprehensive cases, present large treatment plans, and perform high-value restorative and surgical procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties & Treatment Planning
- Diagnose, present, and execute comprehensive, high-value treatment plans (full-mouth rehabilitations, implant-supported prosthetics, multi-unit restorative cases).
- Conduct anterior and posterior Root Canal Therapy (RCT), including complex molar endodontics.
- Manage Implant Dentistry cases, including surgical placement, bone grafting (where applicable), and implant restorations.
- Provide high-quality restorative procedures (crowns, bridges, composite fillings, fixed/removable prosthodontics).
- Perform routine and surgical extractions and handle acute emergency dental care.
- Communicate complex treatment options clearly to patients to ensure understanding and strong case acceptance.
Operational & Administrative
- Consistently maintain punctual, dependable attendance and smooth daily schedule management.
- Maintain detailed, accurate electronic clinical records in compliance with state regulations.
- Lead and collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to optimize clinical flow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental school.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted New Jersey Dental License in good standing.
- Certifications: Active New Jersey CDS registration, DEA license, and current BLS/CPR certification.
- Clinical Expertise:
- Proven capability in diagnosing, presenting, and executing large, multi-phase treatment plans.
- Demonstrated competency in Endodontics (RCT).
- Demonstrated competency in Surgical Implant Placement and Restoration.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of post-residency clinical experience preferred (GPR/AEGD completed candidates encouraged to apply).
- Active malpractice insurance in good standing.
