Sales Representative
Job Description
Sales Representative – Dental IT Solutions
Arknet Computers | [City, State] | Full-Time | [On-site / Hybrid]
About Arknet Computers
Arknet Computers is a trusted technology partner to dental practices. We understand that a dental office runs on its technology, from scheduling and charting to digital X-rays and patient communication, and that downtime means canceled appointments and lost revenue. Our team delivers reliable, secure, HIPAA-conscious IT solutions so dentists and their staff can focus on what matters most: caring for patients. As we expand our presence in the dental community, we’re looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our team.
The Role
As a Sales Representative focused on the dental market, you’ll build relationships with dentists, practice owners, office managers, and dental groups, and help them find the right technology to run a modern, efficient, and secure practice. You’ll sell Arknet’s complete portfolio of IT products and services and become a go-to technology advisor in the local dental community.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business with general dentists, specialists (orthodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, periodontists), and multi-location dental groups
- Meet with practice owners and office managers to understand their workflows, pain points, and technology goals
- Sell Arknet’s full range of dental IT solutions, including:
- Managed IT services and help desk support
- HIPAA-focused cybersecurity, data backup, and disaster recovery
- Workstations, servers, and networking for front office and operatories
- Support and integration for practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental
- Setup and support for digital imaging systems, X-ray sensors, intraoral cameras, and CBCT
- Cloud services, VoIP phone systems, and secure Wi-Fi
- New office build-outs, relocations, and technology upgrades
- Partner with Arknet’s technicians to design solutions and prepare proposals and service agreements
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract
- Grow existing dental accounts through upgrades, add-on services, and renewals
- Build Arknet’s reputation through dental study clubs, local dental society meetings, trade shows, and vendor partnerships
- Maintain an accurate pipeline in our CRM and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience; experience selling to dental or medical practices is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with how dental offices operate, including front office, clinical, and practice management workflows
- Working knowledge of business IT; understanding of HIPAA requirements is a major plus
- Experience with dental technology, supply, or equipment sales is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft 365
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular office visits
What Arknet Offers
- Competitive base pay, plus uncapped commission
- Paid time off and holidays
- Training on Arknet’s services and the dental technology landscape
- The chance to become a recognized technology expert in the dental community
- A supportive, team-oriented environment with real opportunities for growth
