Are you an experienced dental surgery assistant who loves working with patients in a friendly environment? We’re looking for a caring chairside assistant to be part of our periodontal office.

Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate with patients in a professional manner, building rapport and trust
- Assist the surgeon during procedures including extractions and implants, as well as traditional periodontal surgeries (resective surgery, soft tissue and bone grafting)
- Prepare the treatment room, surgical trays, and instruments
- During surgery, manage suctioning while maintaining sterile technique
- Take panoramic, periapical, and CBCT images as needed
- Provide detailed post-operative instructions to patients, answering any questions they may have
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant surgical environment
- Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and documentation accurately
- Help manage supply inventory
Requirements
- A positive attitude!
- Preferred: 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a dental surgery setting
- Proficient in surgical assisting techniques and infection control protocols
- Can take high-quality radiographs
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and patient rapport
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
