Job Description

About Us
Cornerstone Orthodontics is a growing orthodontic practice committed to delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and a patient experience that families and adults trust. We offer traditional braces and Invisalign, and we are expanding our team to support our next stage of growth.

The Role
We are looking for a personable, driven Treatment Coordinator who can also assist chairside. This is a growth-oriented position: you will own the patient journey from the first consultation through treatment acceptance, and you will help increase new-patient consultations and case acceptance. When the schedule calls for it, you will step in to support the clinical team with patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Consultations & Case Acceptance (primary focus)

  • Lead new-patient consultations: build rapport, explain the doctor’s treatment recommendations, and answer questions with confidence.
  • Present treatment options, fees, and payment plans clearly, address objections, and guide patients and parents to a confident decision.
  • Follow up with patients and parents who haven’t yet started treatment, using calls, texts, and emails until a decision is made.
  • Track consultation and conversion metrics and report on them regularly.

Growth & Marketing

  • Help convert inquiries and referrals into booked consultations.
  • Build relationships with referring general dentists, schools, and community partners.
  • Support social media, reviews, and local outreach efforts.

Financial Coordination

  • Review patients’ insurance benefit information and explain coverage, estimated out-of-pocket costs, and financing options in plain language.
  • Prepare accurate treatment contracts and payment arrangements, and hand off cleanly to the team member who manages billing.

Chairside Assisting

  • Assist the doctor with patient care, including records, scans, photos, and appliance adjustments.
  • Take digital scans and photographs, and help prepare patients for Invisalign and bracket placement.
  • Maintain infection control and sterilization standards, and keep the operatory stocked and ready.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a dental or orthodontic office. Experience in treatment coordination, patient consultations, or sales is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with patients and parents.
  • Comfort discussing fees and handling objections professionally and ethically.
  • Familiarity with orthodontic software (e.g., Dolphin, Ortho2, OrthoTrac) and Invisalign workflows is preferred.
  • Texas dental radiology certification, or willingness to obtain it, is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with data and follow-up systems.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base pay of [$*23 to 25/ *hour], with a performance bonus tied to consultation and case-acceptance goals
  • Clear growth path and a supportive, collaborative team
  • Free orthodontic treatment for you and your immediate family

Schedule: [Tue-Fri, 9 AM to 6PM], Every other Saturdays 9 am to 2 pm.

To apply, send your resume and a short note about your experience with patient consultations to [email protected]
