Registered or Certified Dental Assistant — Deschutes River Dentistry (Tumwater, WA)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Compensation: $25+/hour DOE

Deschutes River Dentistry in Tumwater, WA is looking for a caring, skilled, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team! We are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, creating positive experiences for patients with dental anxiety, and fostering a supportive, upbeat workplace. What You’ll Do as Our Registered Dental Assistant:

Perform all dental assistant functions permitted under Washington State law

Chairside assist dentists and hygienists in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care

Prepare crowns including making temporaries

Take digital diagnostic x-rays and capture high-quality intraoral photos

Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions

Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records using Dentrix Ascend

Ensure proper sterilization, operatory turnover, cleanliness, and infection control standards

Prepare treatment rooms, manage instruments, and support smooth daily patient flow

Provide compassionate communication to help patients feel comfortable and confident

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of Dental Assistant experience (preferred)

Registered / Certified licensure (required)

Washington State Dental Assistant registration and radiology qualifications

Current CPR/BLS certification

Strong knowledge of restorative dentistry, four-handed dentistry, and expanded functions

Experience with or adaptability to practice management systems (Dentrix Ascend)

Detail-oriented with excellent infection control practices

Positive, reliable, patient-focused attitude

Must love dogs and feel comfortable around Copper!
