Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

We are a two doctor, family dental practice seeking an Experienced Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with a variety of clinical procedures and helping provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Chairside assisting during dental procedures
• Taking high-quality digital dental radiographs
• Placing, contouring, and polishing composite restorations as permitted under Kentucky EDDA regulations
• Sterilization and infection control
• Operatory setup and breakdown
• Assisting with patient education and treatment coordination

Qualifications:

• Current X-ray certification required
• EDDA certification
• Experience placing composite restorations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Coronal polishing certification a plus but no needed.
• Dentrix experience a plus but not required

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
