Job Description

About the Role:

As a Dentist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, preventing, and treating oral health issues to improve patients' overall well-being and confidence. You will provide comprehensive dental care, including routine check-ups, restorative procedures, and specialized treatments such as cosmetic and pediatric dentistry. Your expertise will help patients maintain optimal oral hygiene and address complex dental conditions through surgical and non-surgical interventions. You will work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience and uphold the highest standards of care. Ultimately, your goal is to enhance patients' oral health, functionality, and aesthetics, contributing to their long-term health and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry in the United States.
Completion of required clinical internships or residencies.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, pathology, and treatment techniques.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced training or certification in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, or pediatric dentistry.
Experience with the latest dental technologies and digital imaging tools.
Membership in professional dental associations such as the American Dental Association (ADA).
Continuing education courses in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary dental practice or community health setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
Perform dental procedures including restorative treatments, dental surgery, teeth whitening, and prosthodontics.
Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients’ dental needs and goals.
Provide pediatric dental care tailored to children’s unique oral health requirements.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to maintain dental health.
Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory and safety standards.

Skills:

The required skills, such as dental surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry, are essential for performing a wide range of clinical procedures that restore and enhance patients' oral health and appearance. Oral surgery and pediatric dentistry skills enable the dentist to address complex surgical cases and provide specialized care for children, ensuring comprehensive treatment across age groups. Prosthodontics and teeth whitening expertise allow for the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing dental prostheses and cosmetic improvements. Daily use of dentistry and dental care skills ensures the delivery of preventive and therapeutic services that maintain patients' oral hygiene and health. Preferred skills, including familiarity with advanced dental technologies and continuing education, support the dentist in staying current with evolving best practices and improving patient outcomes.

Monday thorugh Friday 9 am to 5 pm
37.5 hours per week
