At Timeless Smiles, we believe great dentistry starts with treating every patient with integrity, respect, and compassion. We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented Dental Assistant to work alongside our tenured clinical team and help us deliver an excellent patient experience.
You don't have to know everything on Day 1. We're willing to train the right person on many of our office-specific procedures and technology, including PAN/CBCT imaging and digital impressions.
Here's what we offer
- $24–$28 per hour, based on experience
- Four-day workweek: Monday through Thursday
- Health insurance and dental insurance
- Paid time off and paid sick time
- Uniform allowance
- Continuing education opportunities
- Employee dental discount
- Free parking
- A family-owned practice with an established, experienced team
- Training on office-specific technology and procedures
What you'll be doing
This is a varied clinical role for someone who enjoys staying organized, working closely with the dentist, and helping the office run smoothly.
Clinical assisting and patient care
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
- Take digital dental X-rays and patient photographs
- Help with digital impressions and other clinical procedures
- Perform expanded-function duties within your qualifications and applicable requirements
- Help patients feel comfortable and understand their care
Clinical operations and organization
- Participate in the daily morning huddle
- Help maintain accurate patient records
- Prepare and turn over treatment rooms
- Follow sterilization, infection control, and clinical protocols
- Monitor inventory and help ensure supplies are available
Occasional front desk support
- Answer phones and schedule appointments using Open Dental
- Help patients check in and complete medical forms
- Check patients out and collect payments
We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and understands that excellent patient care depends on both strong clinical skills and good teamwork.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have previous dental assisting experience
- Understand dental procedures, instruments, materials, and basic dental anatomy
- Are comfortable taking dental X-rays
- Are organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
- Communicate well with patients and coworkers
- Are willing to learn new technology and office procedures
- Can pitch in with basic front desk duties when needed
Experience with Open Dental and Carestream Imaging is helpful. Experience with PAN/CBCT imaging and digital impressions is welcome, but we're willing to train the right candidate on these systems.
Your schedule
Monday–Thursday
- Start time: 8:25 AM
- Most days end at approximately 6:00 PM
- Wednesdays run until approximately 7:00 PM
