Dental Hygienist

Modern Day Smiles is looking for an experienced and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing St. Petersburg team.

We are a busy, privately owned, multi-specialty dental practice focused on providing high-quality, comprehensive care while creating a great experience for our patients. We’re looking for a hygienist who is confident clinically, enjoys building relationships with patients, and wants to be part of a supportive team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide thorough preventive and periodontal hygiene care
• Perform routine prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
• Complete scaling and root planing as indicated
• Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Perform periodontal charting and help identify patients' periodontal needs
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment
• Work closely with our doctors and clinical team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their treatment
• Maintain proper infection-control and sterilization standards

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida Dental Hygienist license
• Strong clinical and periodontal skills
• Excellent communication and patient-education skills
• Friendly, dependable, and professional
• Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
