Dental Hygienist

We are looking to add a part time hygienist to our team at Avalon Dental. We are a small, privately owned dental office in Gilbert. We are looking for a hygienist to work 2 days a week, Tuesday from 8AM-2PM and Thursday from 7:45AM-5PM.

Duties:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures such as dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take dental x-rays and intra oral pictures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Proficiency in using Dentrix
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 per week
