Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive hygiene services.
• Take and review dental X-rays as needed.
• Assess patients’ oral health and identify potential dental concerns.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Document patient treatment and clinical findings accurately in dental records.
• Assist with periodontal charting and treatment recommendations.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and active Florida Dental Hygienist license.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
