What You'll Do

Clinical Excellence & Chairside Assisting

• Confidently assist with general, restorative, cosmetic, and comprehensive dental procedures.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs and maintain an efficient clinical workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures.
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photographs, and assist with other digital workflows within your scope of practice.
• Maintain excellent infection control, sterilization, and clinical organization.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with the doctor and front office.

Ownership, Initiative & Teamwork

• Stay ahead of the schedule and prepare for what's coming next.
• Recognize problems early and help find solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through without constant reminders.
• Help teammates when they need support, even when a task isn't part of your usual responsibilities.
• Maintain organized treatment rooms, supplies, and clinical systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient care, and team communication.
• Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude.

Who We're Looking For

Required:

• Active California RDA license.
• At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience, preferably in a busy general or comprehensive dental practice.
• Strong chairside assisting skills and familiarity with restorative procedures.
• Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs and work efficiently with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• Confidence using dental technology and learning new workflows.
• A positive, coachable, team-first attitude.

• iTero or other intraoral scanners
• NOMAD digital radiography

• Cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers
• Eaglesoft
• Clinical inventory management or team training

You don't need experience with every technology listed. What's most important is having strong clinical fundamentals and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
