Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.

Duties:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing patient support
• Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment rooms
• Assist with front desk duties such as answering phones, filing, and billing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDA or will train on the job
• Current certification in Dental Radiography
• Proficiency in Dentrix, or other dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
