Job Summary

Our general dentistry practice in Fresno, CA is seeking a friendly, reliable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for a temporary position from October 22, 2026 through January 7, 2027

We offer competitive pay of $50-55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Higher rates may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, full mouth gingival scale, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs measurement and medical history review, to ensure safe treatment planning.
• Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays), perio chart.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, medical history updates, and radiograph within electronic health records.
• Follow strict infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic techniques and adherence to HIPAA regulations for maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to provide an excellent patient experience.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with current registration in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about dental care and health maintenance.
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the dental team.
