Dental Hygienist

Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Two Days per Week

Osborn General Dentistry is a privately owned, single-doctor practice in Hilliard seeking a dental hygienist for two consistent weekdays per week. This is an established position becoming available because one of our longtime hygienists is retiring.

We are looking for someone who provides excellent patient care, communicates well and will be a good long-term fit with our patients and team. Our hygienists are trusted to exercise their professional judgment without corporate production quotas or centralized management.

Position Details

• Mondays plus one additional consistent weekday
• Office hours are 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with some flexibility if needed
• $50.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal charting and other appropriate hygiene services
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients and communicate clinical findings clearly
• Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comfortable, high-quality care
• Follow appropriate infection-control and sterilization procedures

Qualifications

• Active Ohio dental hygiene license in good standing
• Previous clinical hygiene experience preferred
• Dependable, professional and attentive to detail
• Strong communication and patient-education skills
• Warm, patient-centered approach
