Dental Hygienist

Seeking Part-Time Hygienist (2-3 days a week)

Seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team on Wednesday and Thursday . As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional oral care to our valued patients. Responsibilities:

• Perform initial patient screenings, including medical history review, oral cancer screenings, and dental charting

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque, stains, and tartar

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing, flossing techniques, and nutrition counseling

• Assess and document patients' oral health conditions, noting any abnormalities or potential issues for further evaluation by the dentist

• Take dental radiographs as needed

• Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and oral health maintenance

• Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to all safety regulations

• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience and deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Valid dental hygiene license in CT

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution

• Proficient in using dental software and digital radiography systems.Dentrix experience is a plus!

• Excellent knowledge of oral health and hygiene practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages

• Detail-oriented and ability to maintain accurate patient records

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
