Dentist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dentist to join our team at our busy practice. The ideal candidate should have an excellent bedside manner and be committed to providing care that makes patients feel like family. Our dental office is modern, updated, and equipped with everything you need to provide high-quality dentistry. General Dentist with experience in Family & Cosmetic Dentistry are welcome to apply. Part-Time Position: 1- day per week (Tuesday or Saturday)

Candidate must have current and in good standing California Dental Board License, CPR, DEA Registration, NPI, Malpractice Insurance and be enrolled or willing to enroll as a Denti-Cal Provider (Medi-Cal) and Private Insurance Plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restorations
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain-relieving medication
• Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
• Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and dental appliances
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
• Ability to administer Nitrous Sedation

Dentist Requirements and Qualifications:

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a school accredited by Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and American Dental Association.
• Licensed to practice in California.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication.
• Compassionate and caring of patients.
• Complies with all office, local, state, and American Dental Association Regulations, Protocols, and procedures.
