Dental Hygienist

About the Role
The Registered Dental Hygienist provides preventive oral health care and supports patients in maintaining healthy teeth and gums. This role combines attentive patient care with dental clinic experience and dental X-ray skills.

What You'll Do
• Complete thorough assessments of a patient’s overall health, teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and communicate findings to the dentist Show compassion and understanding Document and educate patients on any abnormalities or suspected conditions Perform dental hygiene services including x-rays, visual/tactile exams, fluoride treatments, sealants, scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, and administration of local anesthetic Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Ensure a clean, safe work environment following OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols
