Associate General Dentist

Job Overview

Join our Shine dental team as an Associate General Dentist and deliver thoughtful, comprehensive care across a range of patient needs. You’ll assess patients, explain treatment options clearly, and provide general dentistry in a collaborative clinical setting. Duties

• Perform patient assessments and dental diagnosis; develop and document treatment plans using medical and dental terminology.
• Provide general dentistry, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and care related to prosthodontics, orthodontics, dental implants, and pediatric dentistry, within your scope and applicable requirements.
• Use medical imaging and maintain accurate medical records and medical documentation.
• Coordinate four-handed dentistry with clinical colleagues; follow aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Communicate with patients about findings and care, while following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and state healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Required: Dental degree and active license to practice in the applicable state; strong patient care, client communication, anatomy knowledge, healthcare diagnosis, and dental terminology skills.
• Required: Dental office or dental clinic experience and familiarity with applicable clinical documentation and infection control practices.
• Preferred: Experience with Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix, and exposure to pediatrics, anesthesiology, dental fabrication, or related specialty care.
• Preferred: Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, medical imaging, and the listed general dentistry procedures.

Pay: From $600.00 per day
